Want to follow a funding campaign up close? Emphas.is has just launched a new feature that will allow you to share and follow the funding progress of a project you like on your site or blog. You can now embed the dynamic project status counter and short description of a project to your own own site or blog.

If you don’t know yet how to embed an iframe on your site, below are some short instructions.

An iframe is used to display a web page within a web page. Here is a short step by step description of the process on how to embed the iframe on your site:

Step 1: Select the  embed button under the counter on the project detail page

Step 2: Copy the iFrame code from the pop-up.

Simply copy the code from the pop-up window and close it afterwards. The code will look like this:

<iframe align="middle" title="Condemned" width="350" height="463" scrolling="no" src="http://emphas.is/web/guest/embed?projectID=332" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Step 3: Copy the code into your webpage.

You should now copy/paste the code inthe HTML of your website. If you do not how to do this, please, consult your website administrator. Know also that many blogging tools like WordPress automatically removed tagging. Make sure you use the HTML only when pasting this code. Instruction on iFrame for your particular system is found in its manual.

The iframe tags tell the browser that this is a section from your website that comes from a different source, i.e. Emphas.is.

The align tag function defines that the counter appears centered within the iframe.

The width and height tag defines the size of the iframe. Making it smaller will result in an iframe that may become too small to show the content. Making it bigger will add space. We recommend not to change any parameters unless needed.

Frameborder 0 means that no border is made around the iframe.

Step 4: Save and publish it on your webpage

Step 5: Check the Result

Your webpage should now include the counter.

Note: the counter and counter buttons will be updated when the page is refreshed, as on the Emphas.is website.

Go ahead. Share and follow the funding progress of a project you like.
